This is an interesting patent describing probably what could be considered the first CRT game ever made.
I understand the operation of the circuit in general.
However, this seem to require a special coating on deflection plates and I want to see if this can be done with "ordinary" non-coated CRTs.
The purpose of the coating is: "The greater the vertical deflection, the greater the horizontal deflection".
I wonder if there is another way of doing that with some kind of electronic circuit using ordinary non-coated CRT?
Also I wonder if one wants to make a simpler version with straight trajectory lines (like the famous arcade game), an he avoid the usage of tubes 18,23,18',23' and connect output 16 to one set of deflection plates and output 16' to the other set?
