    Trapezoid shape of traces

Figure 1 is correct, the wider part of the trapezoid will always be next to a core. As you etch down through the copper, you also loose some width, starting at the outermost edge of the copper.

    DS90UB960-Q1 Length matching issue

I would worry about not achieving the correct skew, during layout... If it is not achieved then the layout is incorrect and needs changing.

    PCB design tools

I agree with FvM. If you compare ( preferably by doing a real design) all the PCB packages, you will find they all have positive and negative points... Cost of ownership can be determined by getting quotes from the vendors. How a tool performs, depends how well it is used... Personally, myself...

    High speed signal routing layers

A lot of designs use microstrip (surface routing) for high speed routing, faster (less propagation than stripline), half the signal is traveling through air. PCI and the various PC interface chips, allow for surface routing to the memory and other interfaces. PCIe s surface routed...

    Dielectric material selection

Talk to PCB manufacturers you may use, they are the best to advise on the best options... Don't use Teflon unless you absolutely have to, and there are few designs that need it... It is a horrible material for PCB manufacture and puts the cost up dramatically... Most internal power layers tend...

Cadstart exporting DXF and cutout into board outline

Far easier to export the DXF from the manufacture/artwork, set up the image you want and plot to DXF, job done. Used Cadstar since day 1 and have never used the export DXF... I have used the import DXF extensively, when I want to create a DXF, as said above I use Manufacture/Artwork, set device...

    BS60669 Creepages / Clearances?

Look for creepage and clearance web site... Cannot remember the name, but there is a web site that will give a lot of info, including explanations of pollution levels etc.

    Dielectric materials in PCB

There are numerous variations of FR4, the term is a generic reference to Flame Retardant, 4 refers to woven glass reinforced . Look at ISOLA as well as manufacturers already mentioned. There are different glass weaves such as ...

Matching Altium and manufacturing DRC technology

Use metric, far easier with most modern components. Look for "the CAD library of the future", link below. https://caxapa.ru/thumbs/464238/The_CAD_Library_of_the_Future.pdf It is rare for us to see imperial designs these days, I work in a design bureau. Metric also is an easier match to any...
